Our Client wished to upgrade their cold treatment device in order to visualize the temperature and heat zones to be treated. A thermal camera and color screen was thus added, all within medical certification framework IEC 62304.

A thermal camera continuously films the area treated by a jet of CO2. The practitioner accurately visualizes the patient’s skin temperature on the area to be treated. The CO2 jet is controlled by a software-driven solenoid valve. At any time a screenshot can be taken by the simple press of a button. Photos can be accessed by connecting the device to a PC via a USB port.
